Two-factor authentication for QRO Online

Find out what to do if you’re having trouble receiving the authentication code or getting it to work.

On this page:

    Receiving the code

You might have trouble receiving the code if you’re overseas or you’ve changed phone numbers.

    Overseas

To receive the authentication code while outside of Australia, you’ll need to use an authenticator app or have updated your international mobile number with us.

To use the app, you need to choose this option when you set up your QRO Online account. To change your mobile number or to change how you receive the code, you need to contact us.

    Wrong phone number

If you’re not receiving the SMS code, it might be going to a different phone number. If you need to change the number in our system, contact us.

    Using the code

If you’re using SMS to receive your code, make sure you click the Get the code button once only. Your code may not work if you click the button more than once.

If you’re still having trouble, you can try:

    • turning your phone off and on again
    • changing the registered device to make sure it’s the correct number.

Changing how you get the code

Call us on 1300 300 734 if you need to change:

    • the mobile number to receive SMS authentication codes
    • from phone-based codes to app-based authentication.
