    Blank screen or error messages

If you get a blank screen or an error message (such as an SAML, 404, 505 or 400006 code or an ‘oops—site not found’), try these troubleshooting steps.

    1. Clear your browsing history, including the cache.
    2. Close all browser windows.
    3. Open a new page and re-open QRO Online using https://qroonline.treasury.qld.gov.au.

Alternatively, you can try using incognito mode.

Always use one of our links to log in to QRO Online or enter the URL address directly. Do not bookmark the page.

    Outages

When there is a planned outage, such as for scheduled maintenance, you’ll see a message on the QRO Online log in screen.

If there is an unplanned outage, we’ll work to fix it as soon as possible. You could try to log in every 30 minutes or so to test your access.

    Land tax exemption application

If your details are not up to date in our system, you might get an error message when applying for an exemption.

Business partner is not a natural resident

If you receive this message when applying for a home exemption (Form LT12), it means that our system has you as an ‘absentee’ owner type instead of an ‘individual’. Absentees are not eligible for a home exemption.

If our records are incorrect, you need to complete and lodge absentee/resident status declaration (Form LT16) to correct your owner type. Once we’ve processed this, you’ll be able to lodge Form LT12.

    Payroll tax annual return

If there are any errors in your return, a red exclamation mark will appear at the top right corner. Click the icon to display information on the error.

Not all periodic form bundles processed in return details: Field periodic payments

This message usually means that you haven’t lodged all your periodic returns for the financial year. It could also mean that there might be an issue or outstanding reassessment request on a lodged return.

If you are unable to resolve the issues in your annual return, contact us.
