Rates and fees from 1 July 2026

See the rate of unpaid tax interest and fees for 2026–27.

From 1 July 2026, the following interest rate and fees for lodging documents and applications will apply in relation to transfer duty.

  • Unpaid tax interest—12.43%
  • Postage and handling—when we return documents to you by post:
    • $6.15 for the first document
    • $2.00 for each additional document
  • Adjudication fee—$48.35 when you lodge documents with us that are not subject to duty (i.e. do not require a stamp)
  • Land tax clearance certificate—$50.20 when you lodge an application by email.
