Subscribe to emailsJoint tenants are two or more people who all share the full ownership of a property; that is, their ownership is not divided into percentages or shares. When a joint tenant passes away, their ownership is automatically transferred to any surviving joint tenants regardless of the will or wishes of the deceased.
