Rate and fee changes from 1 July 2024

From 1 July 2024 the unpaid tax interest rate is 12.36%.

Usually, our fees and charges increase on 1 July each year in line with the government’s indexation policy. For the 2024–25 financial year there is no increase in our fees.

  • Postage and handling—when we return documents to you by post, remains at:
    • $5.75 for the first document
    • $1.90 for each additional document.
  • Adjudication fee—remains at $45.25 when you lodge documents with us that are not subject to duty (i.e. do not require a stamp).
  • Land tax clearance certificate—remains unchanged at $47.00 when you lodge an application by mail.
