Update contact details in QRO Online

Keep your address details, including your preferred correspondence address, up to date.

Log in to QRO Online

We send correspondence to your email, service or mailing address.

For royalty accounts, we use the operation-level email address recorded in your return form.

Follow these steps to update your details.

  1. Log in to QRO Online.
  2. Select:
    • My landRoyalty or Payroll tax for a personal account
    • View accounts for a company or trust account and select the client to be updated.
  3. Select Manage details from the side menu.
  4. Select the tab for the address you want to update, then Edit.
  5. Update your information and Save.

Royalty business address

  • Tick the box if your business address is the same as the (default) mailing address.
  • Otherwise, update your business address details.

Land tax service address

The service address is the one we use when we correspond with you. For example, the service address might be a post box but the residential address might be your street address.

  • Tick the box if your service address is the same as your residential address.
  • Otherwise, update your service address details.

If you want to receive land tax assessment notices online instead of by post, add your email address in the service address section. Then select Assessments in the side menu and tick the box to agree to receive online notices. We’ll send you an email when your notice is ready to download.

Make sure you keep your contact details up to date. It’s also a good idea to:

  • add @treasury.qld.gov.au to your email program’s safe senders list so that our emails to you don’t end up in your email junk folder
  • set a reminder in your personal calendar to log in to QRO Online in July each year to check your details.
