Update bank details in QRO Online
The bank details you add in QRO Online can be used to pay land tax, payroll tax, betting tax, and duties (if you are a registered self assessor).
We may also use these bank details if we issue a refund for an overpayment or a reassessment that reduces your liability.
Only users with administrator access can set up or edit bank account details. They will also receive email notifications of any changes.
- You cannot make royalty payments in QRO Online.
- You can have more than 1 bank account.
- Your bank account number must contain only numbers—no letters, spaces or special characters.
- The ‘valid-to’ date determines when bank account details will expire in QRO Online.
- The only details that can be changed are the account nickname and ‘valid-to’ date.
- Funds are only automatically debited for approved payment plans. Otherwise, deductions from your account occur after you make a payment and get a receipt number.
- Log in to QRO Online.
- Select:
- My land or Royalty for a personal account
- View accounts for a company or trust account and select the client’s name or ID to be updated.
- Select Manage details from the side menu.
- Select the Bank details tab.
- Click Add new (for a new or additional account).
- Enter your bank account details.
The ‘valid-to’ field will default to 31/12/9999 to keep the account open indefinitely.
- Read the direct debit request service agreement, then check the box.
- Click Add.
- Once updated, you will receive an email confirmation. Click Okay.
The only account details that can be changed are the account nickname and ‘valid-to’ date.
You can’t delete a bank account in QRO Online, but you can disable it by changing the ‘valid-to’ date.
- Log in to QRO Online.
- Select:
- My land or Royalty for a personal account
- View accounts for a company or trust account and select the client’s name or ID to be updated.
- Select Manage details from the side menu.
- Select the Bank details tab.
- Click Edit.
- To disable an account, enter today’s date.
- Click Save.
